About Us

The Piedmont Republican Women's Club (PRWC) is a volunteer grassroots organization that participates in local community activities and works to elect and support Republicans in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

PRWC was founded in 1960 in Warrenton, Virginia. Proudly affiliated with the Virginia Federation of Republican Women (VFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), PRWC has 70 to 80 members at any given time. The vast majority live in Fauquier County, but we also have members from Culpeper, Loudoun, and Prince William counties.

We open our arms and hearts to all women* from diverse backgrounds who believe in and cherish Republican principles. Our members contribute to our communities through involvement in programs such as Caring for America, Support Our Troops, Barbara Bush Literacy, Women's Health Issues, Women in Business, Voter Registration/Get Out the Vote, Candidate Recruitment and Campaign Support. Our Club also works closely with the Fauquier County Republican Committee (FCRC).

*Republican men may be eligible for associate membership.
THE VIRGINIA REPUBLICAN CREED

WE BELIEVE...

~That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice.

~That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society.

~That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government.

~That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing constitutional limitations.

~That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense.

~That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers, is essential to the moral fiber of the Nation.
